255 Manufactured Housing-Related Licenses Renewed For 2018-19

Manufactured housing regulators approved Tuesday the renewal of 255 manufacturer,
retailer, and contractor licenses in West Virginia for the 2018-19 fiscal year.
The West Virginia Manufactured Housing Construction Safety Standards Board renewed
the licenses for 84 retailers, 34 manufacturers, and 137 contractors for the fiscal year that began
July 1.

Two retailers failed to renewal and one regional location for another was dropped.
Licenses were not renewed in Preston and Jefferson counties. Seven contractors failed to renew.
The board renewed the license of James E. Fitzwater, doing business at GEES Mobile
Home Sets, of Oak Hill.

The board, under the direction of state Labor Commissioner Mitch Woodrum, briefly
discussed possible legislation next year, but deferred a decision until the 10 a.m. Oct. 18 meeting
of the State Board.
